The Center of the Universe
Referred to in some cases as "Axis Mundi" (literally the World Axis), the Center of the
Universe is a philosophical notion, which represents the heart of
consciousness. Also known as the
Omphalos, it is a place where all opposites meet, where all dualities are resolved into union, and where all levels of consciousness and creation are accessible.
